Liam Edwards shot to the head of both the individual points scoring, and the try scoring, lists in the Pink Batts Heartland Championship after the eighth round of games.
Edwards scored two tries, kicked four conversions and three penalty goals for 27 points in South Canterbury’s 47-36 win over East Coast to help his side secure a home semi-final in the Lochore Cup section of the Championship.
Wairarapa Bush’s Glenn Walters kicked five penalty goals in his side’s 15-23 upset loss to Thames Valley to become the only other player to reach 100 points so far in the competition.
